About Ana

Hi, I'm Ana!

Trained as a biologist and, by nature, a lover of life’s smallest details, I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and multicultural at heart. I moved to Sweden in 2021, and since then one of the questions I’m most often asked is: why did you leave Brazil? My answer is a question in return: why spend a lifetime in the same place?

This longing to explore, to experience, and to be enchanted by the unfamiliar speaks volumes about who I am and about my work. I fell in love with textile art in 2018. I also fell in love with the transformation it awakened in me: a desire to slow down, to build a family, and to live a gentler, quieter life.

My first atelier opened in Brazil and, a year later, found a new home in Sweden, where I now live. I tell my story through my pieces, weaving together a love of nature, the richness of different cultures, and the small joys of everyday life. I’ve had the honour of portraying more than 50 real homes around the world, and that brings me immense happiness. How wonderful it is to have you here with me on this journey!
