Bringing a house & special moments to life is a very meaningful process, as it reflects what someone loves, has built, or lives in

I began creating textile homes in early 2025, and since then, I have had the honour of weaving more than 50 bespoke homes across the world. Each piece emerges from a delicate, thoughtful process, where textile techniques, time, and care come together to bring a home to life.

Below, you will find all the information you need to commission your own textile home - a unique creation woven with heart and attention to every detail.

How it works

  • What I need to get started:

To create a textile portrait of your home or any special place, please send good-resolution photos to atelier.viveiros@gmail.com. You are also very welcome to share the details that matter most to you. Perhaps an apple tree in the garden, a vase made by your grandmother by the door, or the spaces that hold your fondest memories. I would love to learn about the objects and elements that make your place truly unique. If you are looking to capture a beloved furry companion, you will find further information about pet portraits below.

  • Process, techniques & processing time:

I carefully study each photo received and select the textile fibres needed to create your portrait. Each piece is made using a combination of techniques, including weaving, felting and embroidery. No machines are involved in the process, every work is entirely handmade by me. Production time depends on the current volume of orders, but I usually take between 7 and 15 working days to complete each piece. If your textile portrait is intended as a gift for a specific date, or if you require an urgent delivery for any special reason, please let me know. I will do my very best to accommodate your request.

Maternity Leave Notice: Beginning in May 2026, I will step into maternity leave. As such, the timelines for creating and delivering my textile portraits will be affected. I kindly invite you to reach out by email, sharing photographs of the home to be portrayed along with your desired size. I will return to you with an estimated timeframe for the making and sending of your piece. Thank you for the trust you place in my work.

  • Sizes & prices (SEK - DKK - € - £ - $)

When you get in touch, we will thoughtfully discuss and shape every detail of your piece, including its size and composition. Three portrait options are available:

Small portrait
A delicate (14 × 24 cm) textile interpretation of your home, focusing on its architectural essence. This format offers a refined and minimal composition, capturing the character of the house with subtlety.
Price: 750 SEK (70 € – 520 DKK – £60 – $80)

Large portrait
A (27 × 27 cm) textile piece that allows for a richer, more expressive composition. Alongside the architecture, there is space to explore meaningful details: a garden, a flag, or quiet elements glimpsed through the windows. This format is particularly suited to larger homes or more intricate structures. You are warmly invited to share the elements that hold significance to you by email.
Price: 1350 SEK (126 € – 937 DKK – £109 – $145)

Pet portrait
A (27 × 27 cm) textile portrait centred on your beloved companion, set within a place of meaning, whether in front of a home, within nature, or another cherished setting. Personal objects, such as favourite toys, may also be included. Here, your pet becomes the heart of the composition, while the surrounding environment remains softly secondary.
Price: 1350 SEK (126 € – 937 DKK – £109 – $145)

    • Payment & shipping:

    Once all details are confirmed, I will send you an invoice with payment instructions. Payments can be made via bank transfer, Swish, or card (payment link). Payment is due within 3 working days, and all prices include 12% VAT.

    You will also receive an estimated completion date for your textile portrait. Once your piece is finished, I will share photographs before it is carefully packaged and shipped.

    Shipping & Collection:
    Each portrait is thoughtfully packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition:

    • Within Sweden — 61 SEK (1–2 working days)

    • Within Europe — 160 SEK / €15 / 112 DKK / £13 (3–4 working days)

    • International — 160 SEK (6–8 working days)

    Alternatively, you are warmly welcome to collect your portrait in person from my atelier in Österlen, Sweden.

        • Materials used

        Each textile portrait is meticulously crafted from wool and cotton fibres. Lightweight and delicate, every piece comes ready to hang, allowing it to grace any wall with ease.
