COMMISSIONED PORTRAITS

Bringing a house & special moments to life is a very meaningful process, as it translates a little of what someone loves, has built or lives in.

How it works

• What I need to get started:

To create a textile portrait of your home or any special place, I need to receive good-resolution photos of it at info@anaviveiros.com. It's also nice to keep in mind and send me all the details that are important to you. Perhaps an apple tree in the backyard? A flower vase made by grandma that sits near the door? Which parts of the house bring back the most fond memories? I will love to know about any object  and special item that make your place unique. • Process, techniques & processing time:

I will study the photos received and curate the textile fibres needed to create your portrait. Pieces are made by a combination of textile techniques: weaving, felting, and embroidery. No machines are involved in the process, it is 100% handmade by me. The production time depends on how full the order book is at the time. I usually take between 7 to 15 working days to finish an order. If the textile portrait is a gift for an upcoming date or you need an urgent delivery for any special reason, please let me know and I will definitely make room for your order.

• Sizes & prices (SEK - DKK - € - £)

When you contact me, we will chat and plan all the details of your portrait, including the size. There are two options:

- Small portrait: Includes a small (14x24 cm) textile portrait of the house. In this option, the focus is on the architecture of the house, without additional details. It costs 690 SEK (63 € - 470 DKK - 55 £).

- Large portrait: Includes a large (27x27 cm) textile portrait of the house. In this option, besides the house architecture, I have enough space to explore details such as the garden, flags or simple items inside the windows. This is also the ideal portrait size if the house is large or has a complex architecture. You are very welcome to let me know all the details that are important to you by email. It costs 1290 SEK (117 € - 862 DKK - 100 £).

- Pet portrait: Includes a large (27x27 cm) textile portrait of the pet in a specific location, such as the front of a house, a forest, or a special place. You can also include objects it enjoys, such as bones and toys. In this textile portrait, the furry friend is the focal point and will be prominent. The house or any background are secondary and will likely lose some detail due to the size of the pet. It costs 1290 SEK (117 € - 862 DKK - 100 £).

• Payment & shipping:

Once all the details have been agreed upon, I will send you an invoice with the payment information, which can be made via bank transfer, Swish or card (payment link). The payment term is 3 business days and prices are included 12% VAT. I will also inform you of the estimated completion date for your order and, as soon as it is finished, I will send you photos. Shipping is made from Sweden throughout Europe.

Shipping costs and estimated delivery time for one textile portrait:

- Inside Sweden - 60 SEK (1-2 business days).

- Other countries in Europe - 150 SEK - 14€ - 103DKK - 12£ (3-4 business days).

You can pick up your order free of charge at my atelier in Österlen, Sweden.

• Materials used

Textile portraits are made with wool and cotton fibres. They come with a string and can be hung. Pieces are lightweight and easy to install on any wall.
